Head of Finance

In this leadership position you are ultimately responsible for the finance function for the organization and its underlying entities. You work closely with the founders and within a leadership team, where you provide strategic advice and direction, enabling and driving our international growth ambitions. From 2022 the group will be obliged to statutory auditing. All internal processes that come with it need to be developed and controlled. As our Head of Finance you will be responsible for initiating and future development of internal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Head of the Finance function, building, leading and inspiring a team of financial specialists (controllers and admin).

  • Define, structure, digitalize and contract the financial and organizational processes, so they enable the overall strategic company goals.

  • Create risk analysis for our growth plans and turn plans into action.

  • Set up, structure and communicate the LOAVIES numbers, forecasts and results. This includes weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual management reports.

  • Set up and control the planning & control cyclus.

  • Help to improve productivity, sales, volumes, pricing, logistics etc by providing insightful analysis and suggestions.

  • Cash management: set up liquidity planning and actively manage the liquidity position.

  • Ownership of all tax matters within the group (3 entities), ideally you are also able to provide legal advice.


About You

  • Experience in a similar role, where you had the overall responsibility of a finance function. (If you are ready to take on this type of role as your next challenge we are also interested in hearing from you)

  • Strategic, positive and refreshing mindset when it comes to how finance is done.

  • An understanding of e-commerce and the logistics that come with running an online fashion business, would be ideal.

  • You have experience in hiring and building effective teams, leading by example.

  • Understand the digital first principle and are tech-savvy, able to create an efficient and progressive finance function.

  • Able to explain complex information in a way the Leadership Team and founders understand why you propose changes or see risks.

  • Entrepreneurial, able to think at an operational as well as strategic level.

  • Pragmatic and hands-on, you are able to get things done in a dynamic organization and you enjoy the fast pace and challenges that come with a growing company.

  • A team player who remains positive under all circumstances and challenges, because you thoroughly enjoy those!

Additional information:

  • The position is based in Zwolle, which is our HQ.

  • Remote work is partially optional for this position, 1 or 2 days per week max.

  • Parttime (4 days per week / 31 hours) or Fulltime (5 days per week / 38 hours)
