Senior Supply Chain Specialist

Are you ambitious and analytic and do you want to complete our operations team? You will be based at our HQ in Zwolle and visiting our state of the art warehouse in Groningen frequently. 

As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you have a key position within the finance and operations department. This role oversees several key responsibilities in the management and control of LOAVIES day to day operations and logistics.

You are part of various expansion and improvement projects across the organization, reporting directly to the CFO.

Main responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the operations and logistics internal procedures

  • Own stock count management and inquiries towards our third parties

  • Own the continued development of LOAVIES operations

  • Review key fulfillment and transportation documentation from third parties or towards them

  • Be a key stakeholder and subject matter expert in ERP and IT enhancement projects, provide advice and perform testing for the operations topics

  • Provide support to the business regarding the fulfillment and forwarding processes

  • Follow up on defined KPIs and SLAs with third parties and ensure action plans and developed and followed up on

  • Support the buying team with custom clearance and inco terms and transport related topics

  • Support the external and internal audits when applicable

  • Support the CFO and the planning department with volume forecasting

  • Support management with analysis and insights on the performance of the operations when required

  • Coach and develop junior team members and interns


BRING YOUR AMBITION

Job requirements and competencies

  • A completed education at HBO+ level in a business direction or a bachelor’s in finance, supply chain or economics

  • At least 4 to 6 years of experience in a similar position

  • Experience with managing (incoming) inventory, when you have this experience in a retail / FMCG environment this is a plus

  • Excellent knowledge and command of Excel and analytics

  • Experience with ERP improvements, BC is an advantage.

  • Flexible, agile, responsive and proactive

  • Approachable to the various stakeholders

  • Attention to details and ability aligning business needs to the job

  • Highly analytical critical and accurate

  • Excellent command of Dutch and English both written and spoken

  • Good project management skills

  • Assertive and effective communicator
